What happens, to all the women who did not get the opportunity to be included in government either through an election or an appointment? The answer simply is Nothing! Most of them do nothing politically until the next election cycle. 

And this is exactly the reason why the Women in Politics Network (WiPNet) was conceived!

Primarily to address the challenge of lack of sustained political engagement beyond election cycles which places female candidates at a disadvantage in all elections. 

Therefore, irrespective of one’s political affiliation, WiPNet, as a platform seeks to bring together women politicians to collaborate through continuous engagement, building influence, mobilizing resources, and sustaining their political aspirations over the long term.

Through POWA, WiPNet aims to strengthen women's political participation, ensuring that women’s contributions extend beyond election seasons and become an integral part of Ghana’s democratic process.
